Burglaries Reported Across Tuolumne County

Sonora, CA — The Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office says several homes have been broken into over the past few months.

Sgt. Jeff Wilson reports that most break-ins have occurred during the daytime hours. Around 35 reports have been filed with the Sheriff’s Office over the past few months. They have occurred over a wide region, notably Twain Harte, Soulsbyville, Sonora and Tuolumne.

“Deputies and detectives are working to determine who is responsible,” says Sgt. Jeff Wilson. “We are requesting that people be extra vigilant in securing their homes, and report suspicious persons to the Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Department.”
