Wet Weather Is On The Way

After clear skies, a series of moderate to heavy storms is expected from Wednesday into the first part of next week, with gusty winds, cool temperatures, one to three inches of rain in the Mother Lode and one to three feet of snow in the Sierra Nevada above 7000 through 8000 feet.


According to the National Weather Service, the first system is expected to arrive Wednesday night through Thursday. A stronger system is expected Friday afternoon through Saturday. Snow levels will range from 8000 through 9000 feet.


A colder system is expected on Sunday, with snow levels dropping to 4500 through 5000 feet.
