Angels Camp Stolen Vehicle Arrest

Angels Camp, CA — A car stolen in Lindsey, CA was recovered over the weekend in Angels Camp.

An Angels Camp Police Department officer pulled over 23-year-old Luis Oscar Sanchez because he was driving recklessly on Highway 49. The 2004 Chevy Malibu came up stolen, and Sanchez was placed under arrest. The Police Department says Sanchez had initially lied about his name, and his true identity was determined by fingerprinting at the Police Station.

Sanchez, who is from Lindsey, was booked in Calaveras County Jail. He was already on parole with the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation.
