CVIN Road Work

Sonora, CA — Traffic delays are expected in two areas of Tuolumne County today due to the CVIN broadband project.

Crews will be paving O’Byrnes Ferry Road between Highway 108 and Peoria Flat Road. In addition, crews will be doing work on Sawmill Flat Road, west of Columbia College. 5-10 minute delays are expected in both of those locations throughout the day.

The Central Valley Independent Next (CVIN) Broadband infrastructure project covers 18-counties and is designed to improve broadband capabilities. It was funded by the federal stimulus package in 2009.
