Sonora, CA — The CHP has released the name of the man who was killed in an accident on Tuolumne Road.
65-year-old Dennis McKinney of Sonora was riding a three-wheel motorcycle when he lost control near Aarondale Road. The CHP says McKinney was merging into a traffic lane and was not able to maintain control when he accelerated the bike. The motorcycle went down an embankment and McKinney was ejected.
The CHP reports that McKinney was wearing a helmet but it appears that it was not properly fastened. The accident happened Monday at 11:41am.
