Sonora, CA — The CHP says the man involved in a fatal crash this morning on Tuolumne Road was riding a three-wheel motorcycle.
It happened at around 11:45am near the Standard Park area.
“He was traveling on Tuolumne Road, by Aarnondale Road, and he appears to have lost control for an unknown reason, and went off the road,” says CHP Officer Nick Norton. “He was ejected from the motorcycle and subsequently passed away from his injuries.”
No other vehicles are believed to have been involved in the crash. The man’s name has not been released as officials still need to notify family members.
Traffic is moving on Tuolumne Road, but it has been slow-and-go at times. To view a map of the area, click here.
