Sonora, CA – Motorists could face delays in Sonora on their afternoon commute home. Road crews are directional boring Campo Seco Road at the intersection of Lime Kiln Road (Click here for map of the work area). They will also be boring at Campo Seco Road and Ellinwood Acres Road. (Click here for a map of the work area) Motorists can expect 5 to 10 minute delays in both areas.
The work is part of the Central Valley Independent Next (CVIN) Broadband infrastructure installation. The 18-county CVIN project was funded by the federal stimulus package in 2009. It is designed to increase the broadband infrastructure of the region.
