Columbia Planes Up

Jamestown, CA — The Columbia Air Unit and fire crews are heading to a vegetation fire in Tuolumne County. It is on Highway 108 and 120 near Jamestown. There is no word on whether any structures are threatened or the size or rate of spread. We bring you an update as soon as we have more information.

Update 12:11pm: Cal Fire reports two acres of grass are on fire on Highway 108 and J-59.


Update 12:20pm:  Cal Fire reports the grass fire is contained at two acres. They say the railroad tracks in the area help stop the flames from spreading.
