Car Slams Into Home

San Andreas, CA — A vehicle went off the road and hit a San Andreas home, and the driver was taken to a nearby hospital.

The San Andreas CHP office reports that it happened at 3:30am on Sunday, near the intersection of Lewis Avenue and Pope Street. The CHP reports that 42-year-old Jeanine Brown of Jamestown fell asleep at the wheel of her 1995 BMW and went off the road and into a residence. An ambulance responded and took Brown to Mark Twain Medical Center to treat “moderate” injuries.

No one inside the home was injured. CHP Officer Rebecca Myers says there was minor damage to the structure and walkway, and major damage to the car.
