Vegetation Fire At SRMC

Sonora, CA — Fire fighters are heading to a vegetation fire at Sonora Regional Medical Center on Greenley Road. Cal Fire reports a small grass fire has ignited near the helicopter pad. There is no word on whether any of the buildings are threatened. There will be plenty of emergency vehicle traffic in the area so motorists will want to use caution.

 Update 2:30pm: Cal Fire Reports the flames were put out by hospital emergencey crews before they got to the scene of the fire. They say it was a spot fire.
