Wet Memorial Day Expected

Cool and showery weather is expected this Monday, Memorial Day into Tuesday.

According to the National Weather Service, the chance of showers will begin on Monday and continue mostly in the Sierra through the middle of the week as a disturbance moves through California.

Daytime high temperatures will be ten to fifteen degrees below normal on Memorial day, then gradually warm to near normal by Thursday.

Snow levels will remain above 8500 feet in the Sierra Nevada. Some snow accumulation is likely.
