Tragedy At Tulloch

Jamestown, CA — A man’s body was found four hours after he was reported missing at Lake Tulloch.

The Sheriff’s Office was notified at 6:00pm that an adult male, last seen in the swim area, had been missing for 30 minutes.

The man, later identified as Andrew William Duncan 37 of Manteca, was last seen swimming about 5-7 yards off the South Shore of Tulloch.

Duncan’s body was located at about 9:30pm by Search and Rescue and Boat Patrol Personnel. The Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office reports he was recovered from a depth of about eight feet. Duncan’s family and friends were present and identified him.

The Sheriff’s Coroner has an autopsy scheduled and the cause of death is pending.
