Calcutta Draws Big Crowd

Jamestown, CA — Around $9,950 was raised at last night’s Calcutta at the Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Posse Grounds in Jamestown.

Calf scramble participants were paraded up and down the corridor and auctioned off to the top bidders. The top team on Sunday will share a portion of the winnings with the bidder. 25% of the night’s proceeds, nearly $2,500, will go to the Posse’s scholarship program.

The big parade will get started at 10am on Saturday. Click here to view the street closures.
