Summerville Nursery School Receives Funding

Summerville, CA — Last night the Summerville High School Board took up whether to help fund the Summerville Parent Nursery School for another year.

The school is located at 20150 North Tuolumne Road and has around 40 students. District Superintendent Dr. John Keiter recommended that the Board deny giving the $10,000 for next school year as a cost savings measure. The Board went against the recommendation, and decided to allocate the money. Three board members were in favor, one was against, and one was absent.

The Summerville High School Board also formally selected a new Superintendent last night. Click here to read an earlier story welcoming Robert Griffith.
