San Andreas, CA — Mark Twain Medical Center has a new Medical Operational Director for their various Family Medical Centers.
Dr. Curtis Allen has been recruited to fill the role. Most recently, Dr. Allen was the Chief Physician and Surgeon for the California Department of Corrections. MTMC reports that back in 1998, Dr. Allen led a team that implemented one of the first electronic medical record systems, while serving as a Captain with the U.S. Air Force, where he practiced Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. Dr. Allen has also practiced in a private care setting.
Craig Marks, MTMC President, says, “His strong leadership skills are a perfect fit for what we need in our Family Medical Centers to better serve our greater community.”
MTMC has Family Medical Centers in Angels Camp, Arnold, Valley Springs, Copperopolis and San Andreas.
