CCWD Customers Near Valley Springs Asked To Conserve Water

Valley Springs, CA — The Calaveras County Water District will be upgrading its water treatment plant in Valley Springs on Wednesday, and the plant will be offline for part of the day so that electrical work can take place.

Between 8am-8pm, April 3, residents in Jenny Lind, Rancho Calaveras, La Contenta and Gold Creek are asked to use water sparingly. Customers are not expected to notice any change in their water service because the delivery system has reserves in water tanks throughout the area.

As a precautionary measure, the customers are urged to avoid unnecessary activities that use large amounts of water during that time. Local fire departments and other emergency services have also been notified.
