Sonora, CA – It will be stop and go traffic on a stretch of Parrotts Ferry Road all week in Tuolumne County. Crews will be asphalt paving on Parrott’s Ferry Road north of Iron Canyon Cove Road. Motorists can expect delays of 5-10 minutes and slow moving travel in that area.
The work is part of the Central Valley Independent Next (CVIN) Broadband infrastructure installation.
The 18-county CVIN project was funded by the federal stimulus package in 2009. It is designed to increase the broadband infrastructure of the region.
