Jamestown Teens Hurt In Crash

The CHP has released more information about a serious vehicle accident that occurred earlier this week on Jamestown Road.

18-year-old John Mcallister and 19-year-old Cindy Pender, both of Jamestown, were flown to hospitals outside the county for treatment. The single vehicle accident occurred on Tuesday morning, just south of Golf Links Road. The CHP says Mcallister lost control of the 2003 Honda Civic, went off the shoulder, overcorrected, and crashed into a telephone pole. Mcallister was flown to Doctors Medical Center in Modesto to treat moderate injuries. The passenger, Pender, was flown to Memorial Medical Center to treat reported major injuries.

An investigation into the crash, which happened at 7:20am, is ongoing.
