Solo Crash On HWY 49

San Andrea, CA – A truck has crashed and flipped over on Highway 49 near the bridge by Cement Plant Road between San Andreas and Angels Camp. The CHP reports a pick-up truck has flipped over and landed on its roof blocking one lane of traffic. Emergency crews are on the scene and a section of Highway 49 is closed. Motorists will want to use caution in the area.

Update 4:45p.m.: The CHP says they received reports from several motorists before the crash that the truck was swerving all over the roadway, in and out of traffic.

Update 5:50p.pm.: The CHP says southbound lane of 49 is blocked.

Update 5:58p.m.: The CHP reports the roadway is opened. They say the driver of the truck suffered minor injuries.
