Angels Camp, CA — Plans are being unveiled for the former KFC building on Highway 49 in Angels Camp.
The owners of the property, Rykal/Labrea Associates, announce they have signed a lease with the Chicken Barn Restaurant. The Chicken Barn is operated by Roy and Amy Bradley, and currently has two locations in Modesto. The building will go through an extensive renovation, overseen by Calaveras County based architect Rudy Ortega. The end result will be a building that has a “barn” like appearance. Work on the property could start within the next month or so, subject to approvals by the City of Angels Camp.
The property owner, Rykal/Labrea Associates, is the same group that built and operates the Junction Shopping Center in Sonora.
