Lights, Camera, Action

Groveland, CA – Motorists were not sure what was going on at Old Priest Grade and Highway 120 near Groveland today. The CHP shut down Old Priest Grade intermittently for the filming of a Hyundai car commercial.  One eyewitness Richard Lee of Sonora says he was stopped on the top of the grade for 25 minutes.

Lee says “When we finally got to move, I noticed a truck with a lot of cameras on it. All I could see was the words, “Fast And Furious Five”, on the shirts of the film crew. My Mom used to be a security guard for the “Back ToThe Future 3” set so I got to see some pretty cool things back then. After I saw the “Fast And Furious Five” stuff, I was looking for Michelle Rodriguez, Vin Diesel and all those guys, but I didn’t see them. It was still cool though.”

The CHP says it was a one day commercial shoot from 7a.m. to 7p.m. Click here for a map of the filming area.
