Gas Prices Decline Again

Sonora, CA — The price to fill up the tank has dropped over four consecutive weeks.

The latest Lundberg Survey of fuel prices shows that the average price for regular unleaded dropped three cents over the past two weeks, and nine cents over the past month. The national average of $3.70 is 20 cents cheaper than this time a year ago.

In California, the price has dropped 12 cents in just the past two weeks. Analysts say the price reflects lower crude prices, and that many refineries are now completing costly maintenance projects.

The myMotherLode.com gas price section shows that regular unleaded is selling in Sonora from 3.79 to 4.11. San Andreas is averaging about 4.03 for regular unleaded.
