Mi Wuk Village, CA — There was a small fire that started inside a house in Mi Wuk Village over the weekend.
Fire officials responded to the 25000 block of Highway 108 and found that fire spread from an electric cooking range into the above vent and cabinet space. It did approximately $2,000 worth of damage. No one was hurt in the fire. County resources responded from Twain Harte, Mi Wuk and Long Barn. The fire was reported during the noon hour on Saturday, and quite a bit of activity was visible to travelers on Highway 108.
