No Relief At The Pump

Sonora, CA — The average price for a gallon of gasoline jumped another 20 cents over the past two weeks in California.

The Lundberg Survey of fuel prices puts the average price for regular unleaded, statewide, at $4.18. Among the larger cities, Los Angeles has the highest average at $4.29, and Sacramento is the cheapest at $4.02. The myMotherlode.com gas price section shows that regular unleaded is ranging from $3.93 to $4.11 in Sonora.

The national average, $3.80, was also up 20 cents over the past two weeks. Billings, Montana has the lowest priced gas at $3.23.

AAA reports that the national average for the month is $3.63, which is the highest ever for the month of February.
