Visioning Week Success

Sonora, CA — The Vision Sonora project finished its Community Visioning Week. City of Sonora Community Development Director, Rachelle Kellogg says the event was well attended and they got many positive and constructive comments.

Kellogg said that there were 30 to 50 people per session with Saturday being the lightest attendance.

Some of the input the community provided involved increasing outdoor dining, better walk ability, and preservation of historic buildings. She also noted that traffic and parking were high on the list of concerns that the community had.

RBF Consulting will provide the City Advisory and Steering Committees with its findings after they process the information that was gathered. Kellogg says you can still make comments on their website Visionsonora.info where new questions will be posted over the next week or two.
