Motorist Delays In Mother Lode

Sonora, CA — Central Valley Independent Next (CVIN) Crews will be working in Tuolumne and Calaveras County this week laying infrastructure for the broadband project. Starting Wednesday in Downtown Sonora, crews will be working on pot holes on Shepherd and Bradford Streets, and also on Green and Jackson Streets. To view a map of the area, click here.

In Calaveras County, traffic will be slow going on O’Byrnes Ferry Road. Also starting Wednesday, crews will be digging a rocksaw trench from the bridge going north along the roadway. To view a map, click here.

CVIN is asking motorists to drive with caution in the area as five to ten minute delays can be expected. The 18-county CVIN project was funded by the federal stimulus package in 2009. It is designed to increase the broadband infrastructure of the region.
