Spinouts On Highway 108

Jamestown, CA — The CHP is on scene of several spinouts reported on Highway 108 near O’Byrnes Ferry Road.


A quick weather system passed through bringing a mix of hail and freezing rain. The CHP reports that one vehicle went 75ft. down an embankment. The driver is being airlifted to a hospital outside the area. Officers are still on scene monitoring traffic, so travel with caution.


Caltrans is also bringing in a truck to sand the highway.

Update 1:30 p.m.: The CHP reports the roadway is cleared and traffic is moving smoothly.
