Victims Identified in Highway 108 Crash

Soulsbyville, CA – The CHP is releasing the names of the three people injured in a head-on crash in Tuolumne County. It happened around 6:30 Friday morning on Highway 108 and Barnwood Court near Soulsbyvile.

The CHP says Vivian Reed was driving a Ford Escape when she turned from Barnwood Court onto Highway 108 smashing into a Honda Accord. Inside the Accord were William and Dolores Schlichtmann, both 65, and two juvenile passengers.


The CHP says Reed was taken by air ambulance to Modesto. The Schlichtmanns were taken by ambulance to Sonora Regional Medical Center. The extent of their injuries is unknown.
