Caltrans Working on Hwys 120, 49, 4 This Week

Sonora, CA – Although it is a short week for Caltrans crews, several cone zones are slated Tuesday through Friday, including some overnight ones.

Expect ten-minute delays for drainage work along a seven-mile stretch of Highway 120 work zones: between the Stanislaus/Tuolumne county line and the end of the divided highway from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. and then again 8 p.m. until 6 a.m.; also, from the county line to westbound Highway 49 from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m.

There are also cone zones on the 15-mile Highway 120 section between the end of the divided highway and Moccasin Creek bridge from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m., and for about 12 miles between Mountain Bluff Road and the Moccasin Creek bridge from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m.

On Highway 49 expect momentary related delays through Friday from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. while drainage work continues between Moccasin Creek and Bear Valley Road.

In Calaveras County along Highway 4, tree work will likely delay traffic for ten minutes at a time from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. through Friday between Horseshoe Drive and Rancho Paradiso.
