Falling Tree Damages Sonora High Building

Sonora, CA — Falling tree branches resulting from the storm system caused some damage to a building on Sonora High School’s campus.

As you can see in the image, part of a tree fell onto the maintenance building, puncturing a hole in the structure. Thankfully, no one was injured, as it happened sometime overnight. Principal Ben Howell reports that a tree removal company will be on scene to clean up over the next 3-4 hours. During that time, it could slow traffic on North Washington Street and Shaws Flat Road in front of the high school. The building is used to house tools and maintenance supplies.
