Roads Into Yosemite Reopen After Storm

Yosemite, CA — All roads heading into Yosemite National Park reopened at noon today, including Big Oak Flat Road (Highway 120), Wawona Road (Highway 41), and El Portal Road (Highway 140).

Areas that remain closed include Badger Pass Road, all campgrounds, the Yosemite Ski and Snowboard Area, Hetch Hetchy and the Mariposa and Merced groves of Giant Sequoias. Chains are required in the park. Yosemite officials have been working this morning to remove traffic hazards like downed trees. Use caution when traveling in the park.
