Monday Power Outages And School Delays

Sonora, CA — It is a very wet start to the work week as another storm system passes through the Mother Lode.

Power outages are relatively limited so far today. The big exception is West Point in Calaveras County where 450 PG&E customers are without electricity. It started at around five o’clock this morning and it is unclear when there will be full restoration. Travel with caution today as there was quite a little roadway flooding over the weekend. Areas to still avoid include Red Hills Road in Chinese Camp, Sims Road in Jamestown and Bell Mooney Road in Jamestown.

The weather has resulted in some school delays and cancellations. Click here to view the latest.
