Update: East Sonora Power Outage

Update at 12:30 p.m.: PG&E reports that the lights are back on for all of the over 660 customers impacted in the East Sonora area. A downed power line was determined to be the cause for the outage, according to the utility.

Update at 8:45am: The cause of the power outage in East Sonora has been determined to be a downed power line. Crews have restored power to all but 273 customers. PG&E hopes to have the remaining customers restored by 10:45am.

Original story posted at 7am: Sonora, CA — There is a power outage impacting over 660 PG&E customers in East Sonora.

The outage started shortly after 6:40am and the company is investigating the cause. PG&E states that it hopes to have everyone restored by around 10:45am. The outage is impacting the Lambert Lake Estates, Sonora Ranchettes and some surrounding customers along Wards Ferry Road and Tuolumne Road.
