Update: Winter Storm Over The Thanksgiving Holiday

The Winter Weather Advisory has been extended until midnight for the Sierra Nevada above 7,000 feet.

Heavy snow has decreased to lingering snow showers over the Sierra Nevada. These lingering wet snow showers are expected to continue the snow level generally between 7,000 and 8,000 feet.

Additional wet snow accumulations of up to four inches are likely above the 7,000 foot elevation.

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will cause primarily travel difficulties. Expect snow covered roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.
