Full Containment Reached On Soda Fire

Tuolumne County, CA — There is a positive development regarding a fire burning in an isolated area of the Stanislaus National Forest. There is now full containment of the Soda Fire located three miles east of Relief Reservoir in Soda Canyon. It is 10.3 acres.

Stanislaus National Forest Fire Chief Dave Updike reports that crews got a hand line completely around the fire, a hose line on the right flank, and mop up operations started yesterday.

The fire is in a very isolated region of the forest and no structures were considered threatened.
