Update at 3:10 p.m.: The CHP reports major injuries in a motorcycle crash on J-59/La Grange Road north of the House Boat Mini Mart and Bonds Flat Road. Crews directed traffic on J-59 for several hours as investigators surveyed the collision scene and tow crews removed the wreckage that was blocking the southbound lane.
Update at 10:25am: The southbound lane of J-59 is now blocked, so be prepared for a traffic delay. An air ambulance has been requested.
Original story posted at 10:13am: An ambulance is responding to a motorcycle accident on J-59 near Bonds Flat Road.
The CHP reports that the motorcycle is off the roadway, but you will notice activity. Travel with caution in the area.
