Update: Highway 26 Crash Impacts Commuter Traffic

Original post at 8:45 a.m.: Calaveras County, CA – The morning commute is being impacted by a collision involving two vehicles on Highway 26 in Calaveras County.

The wreck happened just after 8 a.m. on a section of the highway between Mokelumne Hill and Glencoe. The CHP reports a Fritos box truck and a Ford sedan crashed just before the passing lane near Robertson Ranch Road. One individual initially complained of hitting their head and feeling dizzy, according to the CHP, but no ambulance was called as the accident was listed as a no injury collision.

A tow crew is on the scene working to remove the wreckage as officers are directing slow and go traffic.
