Tuolumne County Supervisors Call For Special Meeting On Marijuana

Sonora, CA — The Tuolumne County Board of Supervisors have called for a special session next week and the sole item on the agenda is related to marijuana cultivation.

The supervisors will hold a joint meeting with the marijuana working group that was formed to review potential cannabis rules and regulations. The only meeting item is to give staff direction on the development of a personal use cannabis cultivation ordinance.

There is the potential for a big crowd, as marijuana has been a hot button issue, so the meeting will be held at the Sonora Opera Hall. The open to the public meeting will begin at 4pm, Tuesday, November 14.
