TUD Sewer Work To Slow Traffic On Mono Way

East Sonora, CA – Sewer work along Mono Way in East Sonora will slow traffic on the busy roadway for the next three months.

Tuolumne Utilities District has hired Njirich and Son’s, Inc. to install a new gravity sewer mainline on Mono Way beginning April 1st and running through June as part of an infrastructure improvement project. The stretch of roadway where the work will be done is between Hillside Drive and Edgemont Acres Road in front of the Indian Rock Business Center and in the lower parking lot of the Mono Village Shopping Center from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

While TUD officials relay that “at this time, traffic delays are not anticipated,” They added, “If a delay is expected, the public will be promptly advised.” Drivers are urged to slow down and drive with caution in the cone zones, especially whenever personnel or equipment are nearby.
