Special Meeting Regarding Road Repairs And Behavioral Health Director

Sonora, CA — The Tuolumne County Board of Supervisors has called for a special meeting next week with a handful of items on the agenda.

The supervisors are scheduled to approve construction plans to repair storm damaged Kewin Mill Road and request that bids for the work be submitted by November 16. In addition, the board will vote on amending an existing contract with Sierra Mountain Construction, for the amount of $84,620, related to a temporary bridge on Kewin Mill Road.

In personnel matters, the board will vote on appointing Steve Boyack as the Acting Director of Behavioral Health Services, following last week’s abrupt firing of Dr. Eric Emery.

After voting on those items, the board will break into closed session to review one existing lawsuit and two anticipated cases. The meeting will start at 4pm on Tuesday, October 31.
