Two Men Sought In Pharmacy Burglary

Valley Springs, Ca – Two thieves got away with an undetermined amount of drugs after using a crow bar to break into a Valley Springs drug store.

The burglary happened this morning around 6:20 at the Foothill Pharmacy located at 1906 Vista Del Lago Drive #G in Valley Springs. Calaveras County Sheriff’s officials report a commercial alarm went off summoning deputies to the drug store. A search revealed no suspects in the building but a check of surveillance video showed two male suspects breaking into the business through the back door. Detectives report an inventory is underway regarding the quantity and types of prescription medication that was taken.

Sheriff’s officials gave these descriptions of the two male suspects. One is a black man wearing a silver hoodie, dark pants with a light colored belt, white tennis shoes, and red gloves. He had a small crow bar or blue nail puller. The other man was wearing a mask concealing his face, a gray hoodie with a Barcelona (Spain) soccer club logo on the front, blue jeans, silver Nike shoes, and black gloves. He was carrying a sledge hammer.

Anyone who might recognize the suspects or may have been in the area between 6:00 and 7:00 a.m. and noticed anything suspicious or has information regarding the burglary is asked to contact the Sheriff’s Office Anonymous Tip Line at (209) 754-6030 or the business line at (209) 754-6500.
