Fighting The Bark Beetle Epidemic

Sonora, CA — Hear the latest on Tuolumne County’s ongoing efforts to remove dead and dying trees.

It is the focus of this weekend’s Mother Lode Views. Guests will include Tuolumne County Tree Mortality Task Force Coordinator Mike Albrecht, Tuolumne County Office of Emergency Services Administrative Analyst Ryan Campbell, PG&E Spokesperson Brandi Merlo and PG&E Vegetation Program Manager Alisha Lomeli.

The panel will also talk about the impact of the wet winter, new funding available for private landowners, reflect on the current fire season, and look ahead to tree mortality efforts.

Mother Lode Views airs Saturday and Sunday morning at 9:30 on AM 1450 and FM 102.7 KVML. Mother Lode Views can also be heard Sunday morning at 10 o’clock on 93.5 KKBN and at 9 a.m. on STAR 92.7.
