Calaveras Resident Injured In Highway 49 Crash

Calaveras County, CA — The CHP reports that one person was hurt in a rear-end collision on Highway 49 near Pool Station Road.

The crash happened Saturday at 9:20am. The CHP reports that 21-year-old Camille Inocencio of San Andreas was driving her 1994 Toyota northbound on Highway 49 and slowed down in anticipation of making a left turn onto Pool Station Road. She was hit from behind by a 2002 GMC driven by Anthony Corrado of Valley Springs. The CHP reports that Corrado was traveling at an “unsafe speed.” Inocencio sustained minor injuries and was transported to Mark Twain Medical Center for treatment. Corrado was not injured.
