Jamestown, CA – Tuolumne Utilities District (TUD) reports work is continuing on its Quartz-Stent Water Main Extension Project in Jamestown.
Mozingo Construction, Inc., of Oakdale has been hired by TUD to install the new pipeline. (An earlier story posted here details the project.) Detours will be in place as Jacksonville Road will be closed to through traffic from Bell Mooney to Stent Cut-Off Road for the rest of the week. The hours of operation are 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Residents and customers of Pet Vacations will have access to the closed roadway. School bus routes and pickup locations will also remain the same, according to TUD, which asks travelers to use caution in the construction areas. Weather permitting the district hopes to have the project completed by the end of April.
