Update: Some Power Restored In Tuolumne County

Update at 5 p.m.: PG&E crews have restored power to 30 customers in the Tuttletown area without electricity since after ten o’clock Friday morning due to damage to electrical equipment.   Another 290 customers remain without lights in the Phoenix Lake-Cedar Ridge area with more details below.

Update at 3:30 p.m.: PG&E crews now report a tree into power equipment is to blame for 290 customers in the  Phoenix Lake-Cedar Ridge area to be without electricity due to trees into electrical equipment. The company has pushed back the restoration time from 3:45 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the outage area that runs along Kewin Mill, Old Oak Ranch, and Big Hill roads. The lights went out around 12:15 this afternoon.

Another 30 customers in the Tuttletown area along Highway 49 near Rawhide Road remain without power since after 10 a.m. due to damaged electrical equipment. The repair time is estimated at 5:30 p.m., according to the company.

Original post at 2:07 p.m.: Tuolumne County, CA — More than 300 PG&E customers are without power in Tuolumne County. Crews are investigating what sparked the outage that is impacting 290 customers in the  Phoenix Lake-Cedar Ridge area. The lights went out around 12:15 p.m. The outage area runs along Kewin Mill, Old Oak Ranch, and Big Hill roads. The company has posted a 3:45 p.m. repair time.

Another 30 customers remain in the dark since just after 10 a.m. in the Tuttletown area. Those without lights are along Highway 49, Moromon Creek Road and Poppy Hills Drive near Rawhide Road. Crews are working on repairs to damaged electrical equipment, according to the company that gives a 5:30 estimated restoration time.
