The San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office reports that a levee was breached this evening along the San Joaquin River near Manteca.
It is south of Highway 120. Evacuation orders have been issued for residents living in the area just south of Woodward Avenue, east of the San Joaquin River, west of Union Road and north of Mortensent Road.
An evacuation center is being set up at the Lathrop Community Center.
