Update: Tree Sparks Power Outage And Closes Road In Tuolumne County

Update at 3:40 p.m.: PG&E has posted a repair time of 11:15 p.m.

Update at 2:50 p.m.: Tuolumne County Roads Department has shutdown Creekside Drive due to a large fallen tree that also brought down power lines. The roadway will remain closed through 6 p.m. to allow crews to remove the debris. Closure signs are posted at Phoenix Lake and Hidden Valley roads.

Nearly 450 PGE customers are without lights in Belleview Acres area of Sonora. No estimated time of repair has been give by the company.

Original post at 13:53 p.m.: Belleview Acres, CA — Nearly 450 PGE customers are without lights in the Belleview Acres area of Sonora.

The lights went out just after 12:30 p.m. Friday. PG&E has a crew headed to the scene.

The CHP reports a large tree came crashing down bringing power lines with it. The tree is blocking Creekside Drive at the intersection of Phoenix Lake Road.

PG&E has not yet posted an estimated time of repair.
