Update: Thursday Power Outages Across Mother Lode

Update at 2:10 p.m.:  A new outage is affecting 86 PG&E customers in the Strawberry area along Highway 108. Crews are assessing the situation at this time.

Update at 12:40 p.m.: Power issues continue across the Mother Lode but crews have been able to make some repairs.

In Tuolumne County, the electricity is back on for most of the 72 PG&E customers in the Brentwood Park area along Middle Camp Road, Huckleberry Lane and Lazy Z Lane. A crew found downed power lines at the site. This morning the lights went out for 21 customers in the Phoenix Lake-Cedar Ridge area along Northridge off Big Hill Road. Outside of Groveland near Buck Meadows 96 customers remain without power. A crew is working to repair a damaged pole. These customers have been in the dark for more than a day and a half. The company has given a restoration time of midnight tonight.

That same time frame applies to 97 customers in Calaveras County that remain without power near Wilseyville and West Point in Calaveras County. PG&E blames downed lines and gives a repair time between this afternoon and 8 p.m.

Original post at 8:15 a.m.: Sonora, CA — There is a power outage impacting 72 PG&E customers in the Brentwood Park area in Tuolumne County. It is impacting customers along Middle Camp Road, Huckleberry Lane and Lazy Z Lane. It is unclear when there will be full restoration.

There remains 96 customers without power outside of Groveland near Buck Meadows. A crew is working to repair a damaged pole. Full restoration is expected by late this evening.

97 customers are without power near Wilseyville and West Point in Calaveras County. A crew located downed power lines and hope to have all customers restored by sometime this evening.

There are also smaller outages, impacting a handful of people, in Sonora and Arnold. To report an outage, or to request information on a specific neighborhood, you can call 1-800-PGE-5000.
