Update: Structure Fire In Calaveras County Contained

Update at 2:30 p.m.:  Cal Fire reports crews have contained the flames which broke out just before 2 p.m. in the 1800 block of Douglas Drive near Felix Drive off Moran Road. Cal Fire reports the flames are contained to the home and did not spread to vegetation. Crews will remain on the scene mopping up.

Original post at 2:11 p.m.: Arnold, CA — Fire crews are working to knock down a structure fire in Arnold.

The flames broke out just before 2 p.m.  in the 1800 block of Douglas Drive near Felix Drive off Moran Road. When crews arrived on the scene there was white smoke coming from the home. Cal Fire reports the flames have been contained to the home and did not spread to nearby vegetation.

Ebbetts Pass and Murphys fire departments along with Cal Fire are battling the blaze. We will bring you more details as soon as they come into the newsroom.
