Update: Crash Slows Traffic In Front Of Summerville High

Update at 6 p.m.: The CHP reports the Tuolumne Road is completely reopened and traffic is moving freely. Officers conducted one-way traffic control for more than two hours as tow crews removed the wreckage.

Update at 3:40 p.m.: The CHP reports minor injuries in a solo-vehicle wreck involving a pickup that went off the roadway and down a ditch. One person has been taken by ambulance to Sonora Regional Medical Center. Traffic was stopped for about 15 minutes in both directions but is now moving once again as officers are directing one-way traffic control, according to the CHP.

Original post at 3:25 p.m.: Tuolumne, CA — Traffic is at a stand still on Tuolumne Road in front of Summerville High School as a Ford F250 pickup has gone off the roadway and down an embankment.

The CHP is headed to the scene. Witnesses report there are several occupants in the truck possibly students. There is no word on injuries but an ambulance has been called to the scene. We will bring you more details as soon as they come into the newsroom.
